Look. Feast upon the amazing that is the Doctor. Isn't he gorgeous? Yeah. I know. So my unfortunate friend Timothy got me ADDICTED to the show Doctor Who, and I can't get over how amazingly good looking the tenth Doctor is. So, I did the only logical thing I could think to do about it. I blogged it! :D <3 So yeah, this post is for you Timothy. And Jacque. :) <3
:) This is just a random collection of whatever the heck I want it to be so deal with it, yo! :D

Forget Me Not
Okay, so I've just decided that my new favorite flowers are...Forget Me Nots! I suppose you can tell from the title of this blog.
The reason for this is an amazing talk by apostle, Dieter F. Uchtdorf and he taught us five very important things that we should "Forget Not" hehe Each of the five things is represented by one of the five petals of a forget me not flower :) <3
1. To be patient with yourself
You guys do understand that God is fully aware that you and I are not perfect, right? Well, do you also understand that the people you THINK are perfect, aren't? We spend so much time comparing ourselves to others, comparing our weaknesses to their strengths. These comparisons drive us to great expectations of ourselves that we can never live up too. As a result of this, we never celebrate our good efforts because they seem to be less than what other people do. It is part of our mortal experience that we have weaknesses. God wants to turn our weaknesses into strengths! HOWEVER, doing this is a LONG-TERM goal. One day all of our weaknesses will turn to strengths, and its okay to keep working on it but stop punishing yourselves for not being perfect now! We are so often endlessly compassionate and patient with the weaknesses of others but we need to remember to be compassionate and patient with ourselves as well.
2. We need to recognize the difference between a good sacrifice and a bad sacrifice
We need to ask ourselves "Am I committing my time and energies to the things that matter most?" Our Heavenly Father is MOST pleased when we sacrifice something good for something GREATER. (especially in an eternal perspective)
3. To be happy NOW
Sometimes we are so focused on "When I am married, then I will be happy." "When I live in Washington, then I will be happy." But we need to be happy now! When we are so focused on our "golden tickets" or some distant time in the future to be happy we miss the beauty and wonder of the forget me nots. The little things that are easy to overlook and pass by waiting for a rose or other exotic flower to come instead. We forget the simple pleasures in life and making the most out of today, realizing that today is a gift and that is why we call it the present. ;)
4. The 'why' of the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
Often time we get so bogged down with the what and the how's of the gospel. "What do I have to do to prepare this lesson for Relief Society? What do I have to do to get the sisters ready for this service opportunity?" and "How am I going to teach this lesson? How do I get my point across most effectively" Do not forget the WHY. When we understand and remember the why of the gospel, we realize that the gospel is not burden or a prison, its a joy and a delight and it makes us FREE. When we remember the why, it turns our mundane acts of obedience into holy acts of consecration.
5. That the Lord loves you
YOU ARE NEVER FORGOTTEN. "No matter how dark your days may seem, no matter how insignificant you may feel, no matter how overshadowed you may be. Your Heavenly Father has not forgotten you. In fact, He loves you with an infinite love. God loves you because you are his child. He loves you even though you feel lonely and you make mistakes. The love of God and the power of the gospel are redemptive and saving, if you will only allow his divine love into your life it can dress any wound, heal any hurt and soften any sorrow. You are closer to heaven than you suppose. You are destined for more than you can possibly imagine." Yeah, I loved that part so much I just straight up quoted it.

A Little Something I Found in the Archives
The city lights shine down on me, but I can't enjoy it without you
Your presence lingers like perfume, lighting my soul on fire
You have no idea...
Can't you tell that I have been dreaming, and in my dreams I flew
Flying high without leaving the ground, you lift me higher
You'll never know...
You are everything I need, and I can't deny it's true
Everything I never knew I needed, truth becomes the liar
Acceptance...
As years pass us by, trees sprout, smiling down as we grew
Entwined, my heart beats with yours, dancing; never tire
I love you.
Your presence lingers like perfume, lighting my soul on fire
You have no idea...
Can't you tell that I have been dreaming, and in my dreams I flew
Flying high without leaving the ground, you lift me higher
You'll never know...

I love you.

Letter número uno
Hello there, my good and faithful inter-planetary friends! I honestly have no idea what to write about in this blog but I figured that because I am in an...interesting mood tonight something vaugly interesting may come up. Or may not. Eh, but that is life. If you must know, which you don't, my name is Aiko, Koko, Kokoro, freckles and a myriad of other different things. Suffice it to say, this means that I am very well loved by a junk-load of people. And when I say a junk-load, I mean a JUNK-LOAD! However, this does come with its drawbacks I suppose. I am also hated by a junk-load of people. JUNK-LOAD. I honestly don't see why, but eh, that's their problem isn't it? I suppose you can judge for yourself which side of the road you are on, though I would not recommend you crossing the road too often; you may get hit by a car. And trust me, that is just not fun!
Just so you know this now, I love my shoes. These are my shoes:
Can you see why I love them? I can.
In any case, I started this blog because I am immensely popular and have a booming social life, can't you tell? Ha. I hope you know me better than that by now. Well, I concede, that is about half true. On both counts. But that is besides the point. What is my point? Oh, yes. I don't have one. *sigh* To live the life of the fully unbounded and misdirected. Yeah, I don't know what that means either. Luckily for you though, it doesn't matter. At least it was grammatically correct. Grammar is important. How else would you know if your mom wanted you to eat your grandfather or not? "Let's eat Grandpa!" or "Let's eat, Grandpa!" See that? Commas save lives. Man, oh, man I love commas. I even thought about naming one of my future sons Virgule. Which means comma. In french. Luckily, I changed my mind. Imagine, my son hates me for naming him Virgule and he hasn't even met me yet. Well, there is that, and the money that I would have to spend on a psychiatrist. And then for the divorce lawyer who would do me no good because no judge in his right mind would ever let me keep the son I named Virgule. So I will just save myself the trouble. I do love commas though. They make the world go round. And round. Even more than commas, I love semi-colons. However, semi-colon sounds very much less attractive than comma does; even in french.
I don't know what else to write about. This post seems all together too short though. Hmm. An unfortunate conundrum... a catch-22 if you will. I can't post because I haven't written enough, and I can't write more because I can't think of anything more to write about. Actually that is not hardly a catch-22 at all. At least not by the true definition of the word. Though a conundrum, still it is. Okay, so I am writing this blog while intermittently checking Facebook. And on Facebook I am currently talking to a very good friend of mine, who is actually proving to be wholly impatient as well, however, that is not what I want to talk about. I wish to talk about the absurdity of 13 year olds who flood my newsfeed with things like "All I need is that one guy who will prove to me that not all guys are the same" and "The worst thing you did was make me fall for you and have no intention of catching me" its like... seriously? You have no idea what you are talking about! You are 13!!! Yep. Bites my buttons.
Okay well Goodnight! :)
